Ambition.Do you feel a burning desire to go hot air ballooning over the grand canyon,or ride shotgun in a sportscar at the nurburgring, you should, it's hilarious.
Maybe your ambitions are not so insane..smile I'm an adrenalin junkie and I make no apologies for it, but don't let my hedonism put you off, I'm certain sure all of you have just one ambition.

Back a few years ago while taking a class in writing, creative, desired so much to keep my A up. Now understand that most of my assignments had me turning in like 10 page written reports. Talk about ambition. Well, I certainly had it. So when assigned to go to an exotic pet store and come back with a report well, let it not be said I wasn't gonna keep my grade A up for when the store owner asked me should I like to be photographed holding the snake I was referencing in his store I got so carried away I made reply of, Yes! Oh could I.
Oh the excitement was building and I was getting a little timid when this monster of at least a 7 foot snake was removed from it's cage. Then it was I asked the owner, making sure that if my heart began to throb so much so that I might be given to pass out, would he in an instant remove the snake from off me. That's when he said well yes, because if you get upset in any way my snake will get upset and I don't want that to happen at all. I thought, hmm, you worrying abut your snake, what about my heart?
To make a long story short and so it seemed when I went to write up my snake report that I discovered so few notes I had taken while in that exotic pet store. I was so upset for this report would be so small, only a couple of paragraphs in length, but then again with the photo perhaps that might in some way account for the lack of words on the paper.
Then to my joyful surprise I discovered that in fact my A had remained in tact. That sometimes one can have a little less talk if it is coupled with a lot more action.

by the way Speedie:
I had not ever heard before of that Nurburgring car place you made mention of so went on an internet explore and found this web. at: http://www.nuerburgring.de/home/index.html?L=1#1536
that has a really neat like mp3 that can be downloaded titled: King Of The Ring. It's the official Nürburgring song. awesome!

I'd love to go rock climbing with the blind man who managed to climb to the top of Mount Everest and get back in one piece. That would be quite the adventure. *smile*

The thing with him is he's keen on pretending he can't and complaining about his blindness, that would scare me stupid up a mountain..not that I can climb ahh well.

Chelsliscious that's ok so but people will talk.

I'd like to swim with the dolphin Fungi, in County Kerry,
That lad is a born show off.

O.k. so with an ambition of mine to be a writer,(hmm, make that rather, A Better Writer) with some progress alreadied started what with, The Castle Tasgall, over in Writer's Block Forum and with you to be one kind enough to help guidance give especially in areas of Irish Traditions/History as well as that what is Viking, well, I was in search for a Waterway to bring into the story... seems That Dingle Harbour from the internet explore I went on might well be the chosen choice. smile

Given my fondness for learning, continued fodder:
http://www.ebookireland.com/kerry.htm

You know, there is a first photo there on the page of the Atlantic Ocean with the caption reading below it of, "The fretted and deep bays created by the mighty Atlantic play tricks with the light and produce a magical quality, which intoxicates the senses." Speedie, truth to tell, it was that VERY photo in that televised documentary of Ireland that I had spoke about to you. Only at the time of the documentary I only caught the name of the Country, that being Ireland and missed so much as where exactly in the Country. These are documentaries presented from time to time. Now I know I'm in search of a copy of that documentary. I can hardly explain it for it so captured my attention. The rough harsh cliffs with crashing waters...and yet the isolation in some respects of the great landscape, like so far removed into a past. Certainly not citified with towns scattered all about. So much of a complete peacefulness, well what it was the documentary brought to my senses personally. It was so beautiful and it just called forth to me from some place long ago in my own life, a past in a history seemed so hidden from my view.
